There is never any question that we all have deserts in our lives. Everyone has difficulty, loss and dreams of another way it could or should have been.
But have you noticed that some people don't even mention the difficulty in their lives while other swim in it?
Have you ever noticed that the ones who never mention it have awesome attitudes about their lives?
The hardest questions is, are you or do you know any of those who have the awesome attitudes? Most of them have the hardest and most impossible difficulties in their lives, some of them still do.
I would like to tell you that it is all attitude, and all you have to do is change your attitude, but it is way easier to do than that.
First, remember that you are a child of God and that you can always have a direct line to the power of God. Then remember that you have THE blessing; that you have been saved from your sin, an you will live forever.
Now ... count your blessings. Start with you have the ability to read this. You are educated, and you either have access to a computer, or someone you know does. You have an interest of a passion for God and his son, or you would not be reading this. You have eaten.
You fill in the rest. Don't Stop until you run dry. I suggest you write them down.
Now count them.
Now look at the bad stuff that has or is happening in your life. It will never look so bad again. The Desert looks like a beach when you are holding on to God's hand.
