Do You Still Love Him Unconditionally?

In the book of Daniel, 3 Jewish slaves, who have been promoted to positions of power in the Babylon government, have been told to worship the king. It was a trap. They were well known for NOT worshiping anyone by God. So the king gave them one last chance. Do it, he said, or I will burn you alive.

They Loved the Lord our God even then. They had lost their home, they had lost their land, they had lost their families, and they were about to lose their lives, but they love God still. The said

Daniel 3:16-18: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.”

Whatever you are facing, have you treated God like a Genie - trying to invoke him to solve the problem, or do you love the Lord, no matter what. (God is a Genie)
